MENTAL HEALTH CARE
that DEFIES NORMS

Rykie Smith is the founder of The Art of Wellbeing. She works with individuals and organisations who want more than surface-level solutions.

A registered psychotherapist and experienced consultant, she skillfully combines the rigour of psychology, the insights of neuroscience, and the power of expressive therapies to transform how we approach mental health, performance and leadership.

Her work supports people experiencing:

  • Anxiety, depression, overwhelm or burnout

  • Trauma, PTSD or emotional shutdown

  • Creative blocks or self-doubt

She also partners with organisations to:

  • Enhance psychological safety

  • Reduce workplace stress

  • Build strong, emotionally intelligent leadership

Some clients come to feel better. Others come to grow. Many arrive after trying everything else - and needing a different way forward.

With deep experience and a passion for challenging outdated models, Rykie offers support that’s strategic yet warm, science-informed, yet deeply human.

Whether in one-on-one therapy, couples work, group settings or consulting, she helps clients move toward hope, clarity and meaningful, lasting change.

GOOD WORDS,
LASTING CHANGE

I can’t express enough how much of a difference Emma’s visits to you have made. She is a different girl! We tried a number of other counsellors before seeing you - all with little effect.

Eight sessions with you and we now have a happy, resilient child, comfortable in her own skin and fully capable of dealing with the pressures of modern life faced by teenagers in the 21st century.
